This position is located in Montmorency County, with coverage responsibilities for multiple counties in Northeast Michigan. Selected candidate will plan, organize, implement and evaluate food safety, nutrition, physical activity, and health programming education, as well as “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education” programs, relevant to individual, family and community needs in the coverage area. Requirements include Master’s degree with educational emphasis on sciences, such as biology and microbiology, or related field of study; demonstrated ability and skills in nutrition, dietetics, or related experience; and MSU Extension or similar work experience in educational program delivery. This position is an annual, renewable appointment (fixed-term), assuming successful performance and continued funding.
